Organic and Fairtrade must become the standard for coffee: We are convinced of this. To make a statement and support our farmers not only with words, but also with actions, we forgo a large part of our margin on the Captain's Blend and pass it on to the producers. All coffee farms receive a higher, fair price for their coffee from us. The more customers acquire a taste for a good conscience, the more families can be supported. By purchasing this coffee, you are not only making a statement for Fairtrade - you also receive a unique coffee blend of the highest quality. The Captain's Blend is our pride and joy.

We create our house blend from beans from Honduras, Peru, and Tanzania. We have secured the secret recipe for the exact composition with an anchor at the bottom of Lake Zurich. We will only reveal this much: The blend is balanced and harmonious, full-bodied and strong. It's not without reason that the Captain's Blend is an absolute bestseller.

PS: We also serve it in the café at the roastery. Whenever we set sail for new shores, it's always with a cup of ONESTO Captain's Blend. A wonderful, full-bodied, strong blend. Perfect for espresso, café crème, French press. Excellent for portafilter machines and automatic coffee makers.

Häufige Fragen zur Kapitäns-Mischung

Die Kapitäns-Mischung besteht aus 60 % Robusta und 40 % Arabica-Bohnen aus Honduras, Peru und Tansania. Alle Bohnen sind Bio- und Fairtrade-zertifiziert.

Vollmundig, kräftig, leicht erdig und mit schokoladigen Noten. Die Arabica-Bohnen sorgen für eine harmonische Balance, der Robusta-Anteil gibt ihr den nötigen Körper.

Sie ist eine klassische Espresso-Mischung und eignet sich besonders für Siebträgermaschinen und Vollautomaten.

Die Bohnen werden schonend in einer traditionellen Trommelröstmaschine geröstet – ein handwerkliches Verfahren, das für ein besonders ausgewogenes Aroma sorgt.

Die Kapitäns-Mischung ist in 420 g und 840 g erhältlich.
